My children have been with Kingfishers for the last 4 years.  First my eldest child and now, Isabella, my youngest, has been taking part in lessons since she was 2 years old and loves every minute.  The instructors are wonderful with the children and make learning to swim fun. Would recommend to anyone looking for a good value for money swim school.  Sam

My 3 children Eddy, Tom and Kayleigh have all been attending Kingfisher Swim School for the last 2 years. I can't thank the teachers enough for their continued support. I will never forget our first swimming lesson when my youngest wouldn't stop crying (screaming!) and Denise took her in her arms and popped her on her hip and carried on her teaching her lesson. I sat on the side of the pool wondering if I had done the right thing seeing my baby so scared of the water but as the lesson continued her tears turned into smiles. I have witnessed this dedication and caring attitude from all the teachers. I would recommend Kingfisher Swim School to any parents who want a safe and fun environment for their children to learn to swim. Lisa

My Son is on his first term at Kingfisher swim school, he really enjoys his lessons and loves coming, he especially likes getting his stickers at the end of each session.I would definately recommend this swim school to other parents.

Natasha said "Kingfishers swim school is a very friendly swim school, all of the teachers are very patient and encouraging. I learnt to swim at kingfishers myself, taught by Denise's mum and subsequently Denise, I also assisted with the beginner classes so was confident my children would strive here. I wanted my children to be strong confident swimmers and kingfishers has given them the ability and confidence in the water.

Children receive stickers towards their badges which is a great visual to encourage young children"

A friend recommended Kingfishers Swim School to me 5 years ago and now both my daughters, Lauren and Freya, both enjoy the weekly lessons and the crash courses that the school offer. I like that Kingfishers is a small, friendly and well-run family business. You can contact the teachers directly, watch your children swim and see them make great progress. I am also impressed that my daughters have had opportunities to learn not only the skills to swim, but also pool-side safety and life saving.    I thoroughly recommend it.  Sarah.

My two sons, Callum & Jamie have been swimming with Kingfishers for  1 year 2 months. Both children started as non-swimmers and my eldest took to it straight away, within a short period he went from 3 armbands to no armbands and can now swim over 10m on his own.  My youngest completely didn't want to go swimming and we have had a few sessions where he has had complete "meltdowns" in the pool.  Every time the teachers have dealt with it brilliantly - far better than I would have and although he isn't as far along as my eldest son he does love coming and will be doing an intensive course during the holidays to give him the confidence that he requires to move out of the armbands.  He was also offered a one-to-one lesson after the first meltdown which helped him enormously even though he really didn't want to get in the pool.  My children have had a few of the teachers now and love them all.  Denise and the team do a great job and I'd recommend Kingfishers to anyone asking about lessons.

Elias loves coming to kingfishers, his only been with you a term and I can see a huge difference in his swimming ability and his confidence. I was surprised to see the number of swimming teachers that are in the pool with him when he swims, 3 teachers to 6 kids it's fantastic that all the kids get so much attention. I was recommend by 2 friends of mine to come to Denise at kingfishers and am so pleased I did choose you other the other swim schools I had looked into. The lady's at kingfishers are all so lovely. Your so reasonably priced. Very happy all round.

Thank you to you and your team who teach my son Freddy. Due to work commitments i can't always see him swim as he goes with his childminder but last Friday i popped along and got to see him swimming unaided in the deep end and managing to do a width. I was so impressed. He's come on leaps and bounds since starting at KFSS so thank you. Katrina

I am so impressed with this swim school. Anna `s teacher is brilliant and very patient and I have noticed that Anna has improved her strokes dramatically and has really enjoyed doing some life saving skills. We have had to buy her some fins after she loved using them the other week .....she said she felt like a mermaid ! Thank you so much. Simon

My daughter Jessica has been going since January and loves swimming so much and improves every week. Ann and Denise are fab with the little ones x Nicola

We love Kingfishers!! Owen loves coming, the teachers are all very friendly and have amazing patience especially with my excitable 4 year old, look forward to him swimming like a champ one day, no pressure kingfisher lol !

Very impressed. My son started and was using swimming aids. 1 term in and he's now swimming unaided in the deep end and learning stroke technique. What amazing progress. Thank you kfss!

Thomas and Katie have been swimming with kingfishers for a few years now and they really enjoy it and recently have both moved up levels in their swimming. The stickers and badges they reward encourage the children to improve their swimming skills and technique.  I have noticed a big difference in their swimming lately, keep up the good work kingfishers :)

My 3 yr old Aarav loves swimming lessons. He has grown in confidence in the water and making good progress. The teachers are attentive to individual needs. Denise goes the extra mile. Thanks for being a great teacher.

I am currently writing this email and the lesson has not even finished as yet but I just want to express how amazed I was today with Erin's lesson, in 1 half hour lesson Erin and the others in her group where taught the breast stroke, her teacher ( sorry I'm unsure of his name) did an wonderful job. I am so pleased and felt this should be mentioned what a brilliant job well done and thank you .

Our daughter joined Kingfishers as a beginner in September, and cried at the beginning of her first lesson, which Denise handled very well.
She now looks forward to going and smiles throughout her lesson, and although she has only been having lessons for half a term, she has already grown so much in confidence and ability.
She enjoys earning stickers and is looking forward to receiving her first badge!
